I was 14, dog crazy, more like animal crazy. We drove to Pittsburgh and brought home a gangly
six-month-old speckle faced Collie named Arf. Arf and I started obedience and earned a Companion
Dog-CD-title. We were encouraged to try conformation and won a Group 2 one day and the next day
we won a Group 1 from the Working Group. OK, it was a long time ago! We were a team, Arf and I really
had a very special bond, and it laid the cornerstone for future success.

I handled Mandy myself. Since Mandy's pedigree went back to Ch Scotlyn's Casanova
I decided to breed her to Glen Knolls Knightswood Sky. I put her on a plane to Edith
Levine in Long Island, and not long after whelped my very first litter.
